Update to parents Autumn 2 Week 3
Dear Parents and Carers,
What a lovely sunny Tuesday! It was a bit of a shock yesterday having to scrape my car a warmer day is very much welcome. I delighted to inform you that the whole school attendance last week was 96.2% - this is a huge success and we need to maintain this over the next few weeks.
It was lovely to celebrate our 'Learning Heroes' as part of our remote celebration assembly:
Alfie, Charlotte, David, Jake, Oliver, Sienna, Zach, Ajwa, Hafsa, Thomas, Daniel, Amelia-Skye, Harlie and the whole of 1 McNaughton shared some great pieces of work with us and now we have our new cameras everyone had a better audio and visual experience. I look forward to celebrating our learning heroes for this week on Friday.
We had a really productive day at Yewtree yesterday. Mr Loukes our School Improvement Partner visited to undertake a review of the school's progress. He was really pleased with what we are doing and the progress we have made in quite a short period of time. I am looking forward to receiving his report and ensuring the 'next steps' are implemented into our Core Plan.
The great news continues as the Clever Touch boards have been delivered and are being installed this Friday.
Another busy week and it is only Tuesday!
Thank you for your continued support and should you need anything or have any ideas, please contact me directly head@yewtree.herts.sch.uk
Kind regards
Tracy
